Mani Sachdeva
Director · Producer · Writer
Mani Sachdeva is an award-winning director, producer, and writer based in the Bay Area, California. A graduate with honors from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he was consistently named to the Dean's List, Mani pairs a rigorous academic foundation with a vibrant, hands-on cinematic vision.
He is a multiple award-winning filmmaker whose short films have premiered at notable festivals, including Tromadance, Great Film Club, and TISNAFF.
Driven by a distinct creative voice, Mani often utilizes the Bollywood approach of "masala movies," masterfully blending multiple genres to create dynamic, high-energy narratives. His films aim to entertain the masses while staying true to his low-budget, indie roots.

Red Pocket Mobiles
Serving as an Assistant Producer for the newly created Minor League Baseball team. This role highlights his creative versatility as he seamlessly transitions his storytelling and production skills from traditional filmmaking into the fast-paced world of sports media.

A thesis project that looks at the humorous side of film — seamlessly mixing horror B-movie elements with contemporary indie filmmaking techniques through a modern lens of diversity.
